A Weekend In The Natural State

This past weekend Dustin went on a bachelor's party float trip so I took the opportunity to have a fun-filled girl's weekend with my cousin, Shana. Five AM came quite early Friday morning, but as soon as I downed my two LARGE cups of coffee I was prepared for the drive!

Riding to Fayetteville when I was younger was horrible! It seemed like we would never get there. However, now the drive is shortened by improvements to 71. I was there in a little over 3 hours. OMG, yay! Shopping was our first order of business. Nothing helps ease the tension of 3 hours in the car like some retail therapy.

Our first stop was Pinnacle Hills Promenade. Its a great new shopping district in Rogers, AR. Here I was introduced to the greatness that is Francesca's! Small and quaint, but full of fabulousness!

Perfect for taking out to the bars!

Then it was onto Sephora! My god, I could spend a fortune in this place. It's been so long since I treated myself to any beauty products. Long story, but money is tight! However, I could not resist. Shana was not good at talking me out of stuff. Here's what I had to have...

Shana also made a BIG purchase, a No No. I want to know how it works, because if it does that is what I want for my birthday!

How does your no no work?! HA!

After spending all day shopping, we headed out to dinner at Jose's. Can we say DELISH MARGARITAS! Not to mention, our company was fabu as well. All of us laughed until our stomachs hurt. Now that is what I can scintillating dinner convo.

As we were walking down Dickson street, I noticed a shop called Condom Sense. "Is that a shop full of condoms?" I asked Shana. She laughed and said yes, among other things. We stopped in and what a surprise it was. This was the best adult toy store I'd ever shopped. This is probably TMI, but if you are in Fayetteville and are looking to spice up some things, pay this place a visit. The owner is so knowledgeable and FUN!

The purpose of the trip was to do it up right so after dinner Shana and I headed to The Wine Cellar. Let me just tell you this place is great! You have prepaid cards that you use to get wine at the wine station. Insert card, pick your wine, push the button to fill the glass. EASY PEASY and virtually NO WAITING! Superb! We maxed our cards, so then we switched to martinis. YUM-O! Wedding cake was the martini of the night, but we changed the name to the ANTI-WEDDING martini. That made it oh so much better.

Saturday we paid for our indiscretions. We felt like poo most of the day and slept the day away. Once we finally decided to see the light of day, we grabbed some smoothies, visited my aunt and uncle and got ready for Fiddler On The Roof.

It was a great show! I can't believe Topol is still playing Tevye. This is his farewell tour and I am so glad Shana scored tickets. Should this be coming to a theater near you, you must see it!!

Sunday I drove home and was happy to get Venus. She was so excited to see me! After Dustin got home we went to get Bailey and Dallas. They sure were glad to be home as well. Dallas didn't leave the couch all night. I am guessing he missed the couch more than us.

That's the brief version of the weekend, but now it is time to get back to work...bleh!
